Contribution Schedule of Charges 2009
$80 General Contribution Levy
These provide for the student diary, first aid (bandages, ice packs, ambulance), learning materials (textbook loan, worksheets…), equipment, library resources (books, subscription journals…), sport (equipment, knock out entries, carnivals, venues…), performing arts (ensembles, music scores, productions, scripts…), grounds improvement, awards scheme, administration for invoicing and other needs as they arise.
Subject Materials Contributions
$30 Technology for years 7 & 8 only (consumables, tri-semester projects)
$20 Visual Arts for years 7 & 8 only (includes art process diary)
$40 Technology Levy ($8 per term)
The use and study of computer technology is central to all subjects and networked facilities provide access to the internet. The above contribution provides for internet access, system maintenance, consumables (ink cartridges, paper…), software, site licensing and the purchase of peripherals for computers (printers, disk drives, scanners, digital cameras, interfaces/
keyboards, projectors…).
$20 Communication and Publications ($5 per term)
This provides for subject selection information, (junior, senior), assessment booklets, peer support manuals/workbooks, student information booklets, newsletters, reporting to parents, websites costs, SMS facility.
$10 Sport Levy Years 7 - 10
This levy is to cover the provision of equipment and maintenance of sporting facilies.
1. The General School Contribution is subject to a discount of 10% if the contribution is
paid before the end of the First Term. ($80 General Contribution only)
2. Where more than one student comes from the same family at this school, the discount is
15% if paid before the end of the First Term.
Note: Parents can make application to the Student Assistance Scheme Committee for
financial support to meet the costs of such items as school uniform, special subject costs
and excursions. Application forms are available from the Finance Office and they should
be returned in a sealed envelope addressed to the Principal and marked CONFIDENTIAL.
